The performance of "Yerma Outdoor Night" was extended
Iran Theater- With the good reception of the audience of "Yerma, outdoor and Night" co-directed by Nasim Adabi and Neda Shahrokhi, this show will be staged for another week after the holidays from June 7.
Anahid Adabi, Alireza Abdolalizadeh, Sajjad Taheri, Soghand Hosseini, Atefeh Ghazanfari, Danial Mohammadi, Sajad Bagheri, Sadaf Mohseni, Shabnama-khatun Hosseinkhani, Marjan Renood, Shakiba Asgari, Raiha Pasha, Shabnam Abrishami, Hamed Samjarbani star in the show.
The show is loosely based on Yerma.
Yerma is a play by the Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca. It was written in 1934 and first performed that same year. García Lorca describes the play as "a tragic poem." The play tells the story of a childless woman living in rural Spain. Her desperate desire for motherhood becomes an obsession that eventually drives her to commit a horrific crime.
