Alireza Maroofi brings "Bodies" to City Theater Complex

Maroofi won the first prize in writing and directing for "Sterile" at the 24th Andimeshk Red Tulips National Festival.

He also won the first prize for writing and directing for his play "Belly at the 9th Alborz Provincial Festival “.The play "Bodies " won the first place for directing at the Resistance Festival and the first prize for costume design at the FITF. This work is based on a book about the memories of a 13 years soldier who was captured. The play tells the story of eight captives held for three days in a small cell one by one in Iraqi intelligence to evacuate information.

                                                      

The play "bodies" is written in a completely realistic way, but it has a minimalist performance style. The 8 characters of the play are present on the stage separately and at a distance of one meter from each other and are placed in the cell .
