The 17th Saghez Kurdish Theater Festival to be held in December

Iran Theater- The 17th Saghez Kurdish Theater Festival will be held in accordance with the health instructions announced by the provincial corona fight headquarters and in order to create social vitality in the post-pandemic period and give hope to the community.

Obaid Rostami, Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Kurdistan, noted that the event will be held after a two-year hiatus due to pandemic  and  added: " with the approach of Kurdish culture and literature ,This festival  will be held to have creating social enthusiasm, discovering creative talents Indigenous. It has an artistic and analytical look at the social issues of society .”

He said that the other themes of the festival were the environment and the crisis of the Coronavirus and the re-creation of Kurdish oral and written plays, epics, rituals and national and religious customs through the magnificent art of drama.

He emphasized: This edition of the festival will be have a  competitive  and stage section with the presence of 7 works with the terms and conditions stated in the call.

                                                    

Announcing that this festival will be held in December in Saqez city, Rostami said: sending a work by the director with the author's permission, participating in this festival for the first time and a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 90 minutes of screening time are the most important conditions. “
