Reza Kianian Joins the show “The Father”

Iran Theater- The rehearsals for the play "Father" began with the presence of Reza Kianian.

Arvand Dasht Arai, playwright and theater director intends to collaborate with  Reza Kianian in the play "Father" which is  produced by Mohammad Qods. They’d worked with each other in the Show “Improvisation”.

 

 

Rehearsals  have also begun, and after obtaining permission from the Supervision and Evaluation Council of the General Directorate of Performing Arts, it will go on stage. The show is also scheduled to take place after the coronavirus outbreak subsides.

 

The Father is a 2020 psychological drama film co-written and directed by Florian Zeller, in his directorial debut; he co-wrote it with fellow playwright Christopher Hampton based on Zeller's 2012 play Le Père. A French-British co-production, the film stars Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Colman, Mark Gatiss, Imogen Poots, Rufus Sewell, and Olivia Williams, and follows an aging man who must deal with his progressing dementia. It is the second adaptation of the play after the 2015 film Floride.
