Ezatollah Mehrafarain to Iran Theater:

I’ll bring “silence” on stage

Iran Theater-With the normalization of the situation and the reopening of the halls, I will direct the show Silence with a social theme.

In an interview with Iran Theater, actor, playwright and theater director Ezatollah Mehravaran said about his new activities: "I am writing a play entitled Silence, which has a social theme, and I intend to bring  it on stage after reopening the halls and normalize its conditions."

The author said about the atmospher and the story: “The story is about an artist who comes on stage and suddenly forgets everything and the work space becomes unrealistic. The play has 17 characters and has a kind of nostalgia for old actors with a history like Chaplin's look in Lime Light. This actor is playing and appearing in a show called Esfandiar Rouintan.”

“When he goes on stage to perform without the actor knowing, Esfandiar 's mother and his sister are removed from the play, and when the play begins, he does not know what to do in this situation, and all the two months of training reserves are in his mind.  During the performance, the audiences shout  Where is Katayoun ?  Katayoun gets up from the audience and announces her presence and says I am Katayoun and comes on stage. “

The actor stated: I try to make this different atmosphere in the performance attractive so they also have a sense of participation in the performance during the show. Maybe I will play the role of the main actor of the play.”
