Giant Puppets in an environmental show

 

Fatemeh Bahraini‘s"The sea is the land of fish" is an Iranian puppet show with a central theme of the environment, which was performed in 2020 in the Arvand Free Zone with a duration of 20 minutes. This play also had performed in the 18th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Festival.

 

 

The play is about a member of a puppet show group, involved in the sea and the purity of the waters.

 

Fatemeh Bahraini, the director of the play  explained :Performance conditions were very difficult for this show, which requires outdoor performance and direct communication with the audience.”

She also describes the story: The theme is about the environment and the importance of water. The language of the story is sweet and heartwarming for us, and this sweetness is doubled when expressed with dolls; Because we believe that puppets are children's friends and companions.
