The need to interact with the veterans

Hadi Marzban, a writer and director with a background in theater, said in an interview with Iran Theater about the importance of Iran Television and its effects: Two years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, I reminded the need to launch such a platform at a meeting with Qader Ashna. The existence of such a platform can have a great impact on paying attention to the theater and maintaining the audience's relationship with the theater. However, the closure of theaters has prevented the performances and we must think of ways to support the theater. In my opinion, in order to better implement the strategies, Iran Theater TV should enter into wider interaction and cooperation with theater veterans.

 

In my opinion, without television and supporting the production of tele-theaters, we can not support the theater 100%. I hope that the Performing Arts Association, as the custodian of this platform, together with the General Directorate of Performing Arts, can encourage TV officials to interact and participate more and better in this discussion, by holding numerous meetings and forming joint working groups between the General Directorate of Performing Arts and Television. In previous years, many tele-theaters were produced on Channel 4 I.R.I.B, and these shows had their own audience, and at the same time provided a financial condition for the stage artists.
