Street theater heralds building a better society
Iran Theater- On the eve of the 15th Marivan International Street Theater Festival; Obaid Rostami, Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance in Kurdistan Province and Secretary of the event issued a message.
He wrote:” " "The street has always been an exciting stage for showing complex adventures and special situations that present human values to its audience.
Simple and humane situations that arise from the nature and spirit of right-seeking and truth-seeking, and the manifestation of the gathering of great forces to protect the eternal moral principles that bind mankind throughout life and committed to its preservation and dissemination.”
“As in every period of the tumultuous history of theater, artists have always been the mirror of the their society and have expressed the problems of their society and the world. Iran has always had its own successes, failures and issues, and the Marivan International Street Theater Festival is an opportunity for us.”
The 15th Marivan International Street Theater Festival will be held from 5 to 10 November in Marivan.
