Nima Yoshij ‘s Tribute in "Mahtab Shines"
Iran Theater-On the occasion of the birth of "Nima Yoshij", the father of modern Iranian poetry, the special program " Mahtab Shines " will be broadcast on the antenna of Namayesh radio network.
In the first part of this program, the simple life of this popular poet is discussed and in the second part, the reason for the attractiveness of the poems of this great poet and the public acceptance of this style of poetry is analyzed and examined. Criticism, protest and critics are also among the topics discussed in this program.
Nimā Yushij, also called Nimā, born Ali Esfandiāri, was an Iranian poet. He is famous for his style of poetry which he popularized, called she'r-e now, also known as She'r-e Nimaa'i in his honour after his death. He is considered as the father of modern Persian poetry.
