"Death Company" to perform in Tehran

 

He explained that two years ago they were in the middle of the public performance, which was half-finished due to the conditions created by Coronavirus, Maleki said: "Two years have caused us to have changes in the actors because they did not have the conditions to be with us. We have changed some players. The shape of the scenes will also change. It's been two years since the initial production, and of course I have changed.”

 

 

Maliki, who is also a theater composer, talked about the initial idea of the play: "The idea for Death Company came from my previous performances. In one of these works, there was a man and a woman, one of whom was dying. I also heard a story from a friend that there is a place where sick people, frustrated with their lives, turn to die of their own free will. I was interested in the circumstances under which these people decide to die. What conditions have made them frustrated.”

 

 

And he emphasized: this story crosses the border of hope and despair. We have drawn the line between life and death. We see the story of people and their pain.
