Mehregan Theater Hall to host "The Temple of Mount Gatis"

The play "Temple of Gatis Mountain" written by Jamal Favadian, which is an adaptation of the Shahnameh of Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi and a free interpretation, was designed and directed by Dr. Hassan Pourgolmohammadi and will be staged in the main hall of Mehregan Theater on Saturday, December 27.

 

The story of the "Temple of Mount Gatis" that took place in Azerbaijan today is a historical story, a mystery and a combination of love and hate, good and bad, beauty and evil that show the world inside the characters and, consequently, human beings. The author of the text has tried to retell in a simple language the concepts hidden in the precise word choice and the glorious language of Hakim Ferdowsi in Shahnameh in the form of an interesting story with updated components for today's audience.
