Seifullah Samadian:
A new generation is emerging
Iran Theater-Seifullah Samadian (born 1954 in Urmia) is an Iranian photographer and film director.

In an interview with the press office, he explained about the works of this period: "Based on the photographs we judged, I realized that in this edition we are facing a collection of photographs that have been created with different and new techniques, and this promises the presence of a new generation of theater photographers.”
He continued: "I have been working with the Fadjr Theater Festival as a jury for many years, and this has enabled me to get an accurate perspective on the presence of photographers and the quality of their works in this event.”
"Theater photographers specialize in photography in this field, and I am very pleased that the pandemic and the closure of halls has not discouraged them," Samadian said, noting that there is a professional view of theater photography.
Referring to the presence of professional photographers at the 40th FITF, the secretary of the Image Festival said: "Considering that the jury does not know the names of the participants during the judging process and it is based on photographs, I think professional photographers were present during this edition as well."
