The capacity of the halls was reduced

Iran Theater-With the rise in the number of Covid-19 patients, the coronavirus fight Headquarters decided to limit theater halls capacity to 50% .
In the weeks leading up to the 40th Fadjr Theater Festival, the outbreak of a new strain of the virus called omicron reached its peak. A few days later, on the eve of the start of the festival on February 5, the pandemic in most of the provinces of the country reached the alert stage and the concerns became more serious. The strategy chosen by the officials was to use 30% of the capacity of the halls during the Fadjr Theater Festival.
With the end of the festival and the increase in the number of patients, as well as deaths, it seems that limiting the use of 50% of the hall capacity is the decision of the headquarters.
On Wednesday, Qader Ashna, director general of the Performing Arts Center, announced in a press conference that, according to a decision made by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in the current situation, a 50% capacity limit will be applied to theaters.
