The Closing Ceremony of Samar Festival to take place

The play submitted to the festival were judged by Fars‌ Bagheri, Behzad Aghajamali, Sanaz Bayan, Azadeh Ansari and Mohammad Monem, and during a ceremony on the eve of Eid al-Mab’ath, the winners will be announced .

                         

 

The first "Samar" playwriting festival  organized in order to discover new talents and benefit from the experiences of playwrights and theater artists with a home and family approach in three sections: it  was held by the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran Municipality.

 

 

164 play from all over the country submitted to  the office of this festival : 107 plays in the stage section, 34 plays in the children and adolescents section and 23 works in the environmental and field sections.

 

Of the received works, 41 works have been sent to the festival office by women playwrights.

 

The call for the first Samar Playwriting Festival was published by the Family Cultural Center on August  2021, , and was extended to January 7, due to the welcome of interested people from all over the country.
