Arman Theater Complex to Home Henrik Ibsen’s  A Doll’s House

Iran Theater-Yosef Mohmmadi adopted Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House to a new show which is going on stage at Arman Theater Complex.

Produced and directed by Mohammadi, it will be performed at N0.1 Hall of Arman Theater Complex during first days of March.

 

In 2006, the centennial of Ibsen's death,A Doll's House was the world's most performed play in 2006. A Doll’s House is a play by Henrik Ibsen that was first performed in 1879. The play centers on an ordinary family—Torvald Helmer, a bank lawyer, his wife Nora, and their three little children. Torvald supposes himself the ethical member of the family, while his wife assumes the role of the pretty and irresponsible little woman in order to flatter him.

 

Bahareh Agha-Gholzadeh translated it to Farsi."A Doll’s House" is the fourth directorial experience of Yousef Mohammadi, which has been directed shows such as; "Father" and "This Side, This Side".

 

 It’s the latest production of  Rokhdad Theater Troup. Behnaz Saeedi, Ahmad Ahmadi, Faezeh Ghorbannejad, Amir Hossein Seyed Esmaeel and Reza Malekzadeh will play roles. Marzieh Kazemi as project manager, , Hani Afzali as  production and executive manager and  Shahab Shahbazi as assistant director and planner cooperate in the show.
