We started this semi-finished project again earlier this winter and as conditions improved.
He explains about this new show.
“Zivar Alam has adapted this play from the story of Gogol's The Overcoat and it is an anti-war work. After consulting with the playwright, we have chosen the title "The overcoat" to perform.
"The Overcoat" is a short story by Ukrainian-born Russian author Nikolai Gogol, published in 1842. The story and its author have had great influence on Russian literature, as expressed in a quote about Russian realist writers from Eugène-Melchior de Vogüé: "We all come out from Gogol's 'Overcoat'."
Rakhsh Bahar said the show is a new production of "Ma" theater group and adds: "A few years ago, when we chose this play to perform, a number of players from the Peace Theater group were acted, but due to the current situation, we could not use these actors. But this collaboration continues in the direction and design departments with that Theater Group.”
