Payam Forootan to bring on stage” performance of The Great Book of Pain”
Iran Theater- after a successful performance in Tehran, ” performance of The Great Book of Pain” will go on stage from March 6 to 7,by Payam Forootan and a group of designers with the support of the Performing Arts Association of the province in Hormoz Island.
An explanation of the purpose and method of performance us as follows: When is drama formed? Is everything summed up in dialogue, action and narrative? Do not other performance elements play role in shaping the drama? According to our group, one of the most fundamental elements of drama is staging and stage equipment. These purely visual components that can de-familiarize, enter the realm of meaning and have a direct impact on the text and theatrical performance.
