Attention to theater is essential in schools
Iran Theater- Zohreh Behrouzi_Nia , A member of the selection committee of the 27th International Festival of Children and Young Adult Theater called the holding of this event an important factor in the recognition of theater by different strata and said: "Theater is a humanizing art that can play an important role in educating the next generation." Performing arts is essential in schools. Zohreh Behrozi_nia,is a member of the Selection Committee for Children and Young Adult Performing Sections (Under 18), Inclusive Theater and Iranian Plays, at the 27th International Children and young adult Theater Festival.
She said:” Our main criteria in this edition were focused on topics including rhythm, composition, actor guidance and puppetry, text, etc in directing, so we examined the works from these point of views. Obviously, according to these criteria, the votes of the selection committee were very similar to each other, because basically good work has certain factors that are liked by different types of audiences.”
Regarding the quality of the shows of the festival, she said: "It seems that the prevailing conditions of the society and issues and problems such as pandemic have affected various cultural and artistic dimensions, so the shows of sections that were evaluated are also effected.”
