Poshtkohi Hamlet comes on stage
Iran Theater-"Hamlet Poshtkohi" is the title of one of the newest shows of the City Theater Complex, which will be written and directed by Ebrahim Poshtkohi in Chaharsoo Hall on April 5, 2021.
"Hamlet Poshtkohi” is an exciting experience for me," Ebrahim Poshtkohi wrote in a note about the play.
“In all 24 years I have worked in theater, I have never worked in a play so close to life. A post-naturalistic work that has its roots in the works of Ibsen and Maxim Gorky.”
“ There is not poetic forms and images, and my most important and difficult task is to make the director invisible. An hour and a half of a family's life is depicted in a mysterious, criminal way.”
He added :"This show first of all surprised me and I know that many people laugh and cry with it as life itself."
Mehdi Atai Daryaee, Majid Keshavarz, Gita Abedi, Afsaneh Barzkar, Yasman Sayaddaghtkar, Ghazal Lori, Saeed Salimi and Mohammad Jame Shorani are present in the play "Hamlet Poshtkuhi".
