The Life of Galileo goes on stage
Iran Theater- Payam Dehkordi's latest acting experience in the theater is playing the role of Galileo in the play "The Life of Galileo" directed by Shahabuddin Hosseinpour, which will be staged in September.
Shahabuddin Hosseinpour is a theater director who has previously directed plays such as "Chef Suggests", "Sad Widows of the Warlord", " Tapancheh Khanom" and "A Better Life".
The show is based on Bertolt Brecht ‘s play. Payam Dehkordi is a veteran actor in Iranian theater who has previously acted in numerous and shows, he will act as Galileo.
The dramaturgy and rewriting of "The Life of Galilo" was also done by Mohammad Amir Yar-Ahmadi.
"Life of Galileo" is one of the most prominent works of world dramatic literature. In Iran, the play is always reminiscent of the name of the great master of Iranian theater, Hamid Samandarian. .
Therefore, the performance of this play is a tribute of Payam Dehkordi and Shahabuddin Hosseinpour to their teacher Hamid Samandarian.
