A promising actress, Donia Madani joins “Whose Life Is It Anyway?”

Iran Theater- The play "Whose life is it anyway?" it will be on stage at Shahrzad Theater Complex from June 22 to first of July.

Saeed Heshmati directs the show and Ahmad kasai-pour translated it to Farsi.

 

Whose Life Is It Anyway? was subject of a movie in 1981  that was directed by John Badham and starring Richard Dreyfuss.

 It was adapted by Brian Clark and Reginald Rose from Clark's 1972 television movie and 1978 stage play, all under the same title.

 

Ken Harrison is  a well-known and respected sculptor, until a terrible car accident leaves him a paraplegic. His once positive outlook descends into depression as he comes to grips with the loss of his independence and his art. Even as he develops a relationship with Clare Scott, all he wants to do is end his life, but U.S. law forbids assisted suicide. Dr. Harrison vows to keep Ken alive -- while Ken's lawyer fights for his right to die.
