East of Misery comes to stage in Amol

Iran Theater- East of Misery is loosely based on Lonesome west by Martin Mcdonough and Tohid Mohamadian Ahi directs it.

The show is based on a Lonesome west by Martin McDonough. Oscar Award-winning director and playwright Martin McDonagh’s work is known and loved by both theatre and film audiences alike. Internationally acclaimed for his works including The Cripple of Inishmaan and The Lieutenant of Inishmore as well as for writing/directing Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Martin McDonagh’s work has been performed on stages around the world and in recent years a number of his plays have been presented on the stage of Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre.
Amir Rezvani, Pooya Jafari, Saeed Shafiyan and Narges Khazaei play roles in Iranian adaption.
Mohamdian is one of the young directors and a graduate of theater directing from Tehran and a member of the Tali theater group under the supervision of professor Amir Kalaei.
