Max Frisch's play comes to Iran
Iran Theater- The Academy of Dramatic Arts of Samandarian started its activity in the field of production of shows.
After the reopening of the Academy of Dramatic Arts, the opening of the hall and the continuation of the celebration of the academy from this year, this group has also started producing theater projects.
In the statement they published, they reveal that "With the cooperation and participation of the selected students of Professor Hamid Samandarian in the past decades, who are now considered as valuable and veteran actors and directors , we decided to produce plays with the approach of keeping the teacher's attitude alive.”
The first production of the Academy of Dramatic Arts of Samandarian is the play "Biography: A Game" by Max Frisch.
The first version of this play was adopted 50 years ago by the late Esmaeel Shangaleh with the nickname "A. Sh" .The show had a great impact in introducing Max Frisch to Iranian audiences. Years later, before his death, Max Frisch rewrote this play, and this performance is based on the new version.
Max Rudolf Frisch was a Swiss playwright and novelist. Frisch's works focused on problems of identity, individuality, responsibility, morality, and political commitment. The use of irony is a significant feature of his post-war output. Frisch was one of the founders of Gruppe Olten.
The director is Bourjin Abdul Razzaghi, and Elika Abdul Razzaghi, Reza Moulai and Ahmed Saatchian will star in the show.
