Iran Theater- Jamshid Jahanzadeh, a veteran of cinema, theater and television actor, stated that the quality of the character is a main factor in choosing a role, he believed that acting is his job and definitely the financial contract is also important in addition to the quality of the work and the impact of the role.
He acted in the movies like "Melli and the Thousand Ways She Has Not Traveled", "Red Rectangle", "Chariot of Death", "Tanker War" and "Angelica's Ship" and the series such as "Life is Beautiful", "Gando", "Constitutional Years", "Razor's Edge", "Zahra's Blue Eyes", "The Great Escape" .
Jahanzadeh has also acted in the tele-theaters "Dolls" and "Mubarzan Kazba". His last appearance on the theater stage was in the play "The Miser" directed by Maryam Kazemi, which was staged in the main hall of the City Theater Complex in July 2017.
This artist was admitted to the hospital in July ,2022, and he returned home after improving his health condition.
He talked about his health condition, "Fortunately, my health condition is good and I have successfully completed the treatment of the disease."
This artist, whose last appearance on the stage of the theater dates back to 2017 and acted in the show "The Miser" directed by Maryam Kazemi, explained his participating in theater projects: "Currently, I am not active in the field of theater. Of course, if it is a good offer; I will definitely welcome. Accepting a dramatic project, either show or film, depends on whether I like the role when I read the play or script. Actually, whether the work is serious or comedy and the role that I will play does not have much effect on me. Because fortunately, I have the ability to play in comedy and serious roles, and I have had many experiences in this field so far."
In response to the desire to work with less experienced directors, this veteran actor continued: "If the role is offered; If it's good, I will definitely work with directors with little experience, or in other words, first-time directors, and I'm not strict about this at all."
He explains about his presence on TV: "Currently, I am playing a role in the series "Confidential" directed by Ahmad Moazzami, some parts of the series have been photographed."
Jamshid Jahanzadeh said at the end: "Definitely, in addition to the quality of the work to appear on the stage , movie or television. The contract and the salary are also important because acting is our job and it is our only source of income."
