Shahrzad Theater Festival was postponed

The second Shahrzad Theater Festival, which was supposed to hold in October, has been postponed until further notice, according to the announcement of the festival secretariat.

                               

 

In this statement, they wrote that "holding the festival needs a better circumstances, the previous date is not suitable for holding the festival, and the circumstances for holding it is not ready in the current conditions. Then, it has been decided to change the date of the second Shahrazad Theater Festival.

 

Therefore, it is announced to all artists and participants that this festival will not be held on the scheduled date.
Obviously, the definitive date will be announced as soon as possible."

 

More than 400 theater groups submitted their works to participate in the Shahrazad Festival, and Farhad Mohandespour, Nader Borhani-Marand, Ali Shams, Ashkan Kheilnejad, Mohsen Hosseini and Sima Tirandaz were Selection Committee.

The second "Shahrzad Theater" Festival is being held under the management of Shahrazad Jafari and the secretary of Masoud Delkhah with the aim of activating talents and helping to expand the theater culture.
