The 32nd Khorasan Razavi Theater Festival will begin on December 21

Announcing this news, Mohammad Jahanpa added: "24 works from the cities and the rest were sent by artists from Mashhad city."

 

Eight shows belong to female directors and 12  shows direct by first-time directors.

 

He went on to state the number of shows from each city: "Sabzevar city with seven plays, Qochan with four plays, Torbat Haidarieh and Neishabur with three plays, Khaf and Chenaran with two plays, Kashmar, Khalilabad and Darghez with one play. The review of the received works will start from October 22 and will continue until November 6^th.

 

 

Jahanpa explained about the sideline programs of the festival:” "The first research conference (Rizvan) will be held with the approach of reviewing the research topics of Khorasan Razavi province in cooperation with Eqbal University, and interested parties can send abstracts of their articles to the secretariat of the festival based on the themes announced in the call until September 20.”

The secretary of the 32nd Khorasan Theater Festival said: "This festival will be held on the 9th of December and at the same time as the birth of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) in four separate halls and during four days in Mashhad."
