City Theater Complex to Host The House of Bernarda Alba

"The House of Bernarda Alba" written by Federico García Lorca and dramaturgy by Nader Naderpour, is the the newest show which will be going on stage from Thursday, December 12 at City Theater Complex.  It’s directed by Arash Amiri and produced by Samira Karimi and Arash Amiri.

                                     

The House of Bernarda Alba is a play by the Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca. Commentators have often grouped it with Blood Wedding and Yerma as a "rural trilogy". Garcia Lorca did not include it in his plan for a "trilogy of the Spanish land"

 

The play tells the story of a repressive and domineering widow who forces her five unmarried daughters to remain in mourning for their father, sequestered with her on the family estate, for eight years. Frustrated and angry, the women respond in their individual ways to their mother’s cruelty, and the play ends in violence.

The show " The House of Bernarda Alba " directed by Arash Amiri will be on stage from of December 22  every day at 20:00 with a duration of 65 minutes and a ticket price of 80,000 Tomans in the Chaharso Hall .

The cast:Avishan Sadeghi, Sogand Sadeghi, Pegah Allahverdi, Sonia Maboudi, Fatima Rad, Asma Hosseini, Soha Dadashi, Forough Farzinfar, Yeganeh Malekmohammadi, Farnoosh Roshni and Farkhundeh Derakhshan.
