The beautiful cultures of Iranian peoples are seen through the language of theater

Ahmed Gholami, the theater artist of Ilam Province, competes with the show "War Bride" in the 27th regional theater festival in Kermanshah.

 

Ahmed Gholami has a diverse artistic career: membership in the supervisory council for issuing Ilam show license, The representative of the show association of the Basij Organization of Ilam artists, Secretary of the 13th looking for love Theater Festival of Ilam Province, Executive secretary of Basij theater artists empowerment course and directing more than ten shows and writing the plays "Mirkan", "Unknown Seconds", "Border".

Reza Safari, Fatemeh Kohzadian, Zahra Cheraghi, Erfan Abdi and Hosna Heydarbeigi are the performers the "War Bride”.

 

 

The director of the show "War Bride" explains the story of the show: "It is about a family living on the border, who are trying to bring water to the well and develop their land, when they get involved in the war."

 

He continues: "The roots of the dramas of Ilam province can be taken from the incidents and events that took place in this geography, and the most important moment in the history of this country is the imposed war during which Ilam spent the most difficult days. The show "War Bride" is a reminder of the joys and sorrows that took place during the war.

Ahmed Gholami describes the main features of his play: "The resistance of the border residents, the control of family unity, the role of women and nomads in the era of holy defense and traditions are the characteristics that I have paid special attention to them in the play and I directed it  to show these qualities. "


He emphasizes: "Reviving the regional theater festival was a very valuable move that was held again after a long time gap. The vastness of Iran's geography with the different cultures of its different peoples can be a very good starting point to see and hear the beautiful cultures of Iranian peoples with the language of theater. "

 

Ahmed Gholami explains at the end: "Theatre is the language and image of pains and problems. So, being together and hearing and seeing the pains and problems that exist in every region can be exposed to the officials in this way and this can be a solution to solve these problems.

 Holding the Fadjr regional theater festival is a point of unity for powerful Iran  and for theater artists and people who are interested in seeing performing arts.”

 

Fadjr regional theater festival will be held from December 27 to 31, 2021 in Kermanshah with the presence of artists from East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Zanjan, Kurdistan, Qazvin, Ilam, Hamedan, Khuzestan and Kermanshah provinces.
