15 to 20 plays from the regional theater festival to accept in the FITF

He announced the special performance of the "Radio Festival" program and the attempt to provide live television coverage in order to inform about the process of holding this artistic event.

 

 

The regional theater festival is one of the final stages of being accepted into the Fadjr International Theater Festival, where different groups compete by presenting their works in this artistic event.

 

After a 7-year hiatus, the regional theater festival will resume its activities this year by hosting four provinces in different regions of the country.

Korosh Zarei explained about the revival of the Fadjr Regional Theater Festival: "The Fadjr Regional Theater Festival was not held for more than seven years and I think this was a great loss for the theaters of the cities. Revival of this festival was the request of many stage  artists and experts. After receiving the secretary's order of the 41st Fadjr International Theater Festival, I had a suggestion to Dr. Kazem Nazari, and fortunately, He  not only agreed to this request, but also accompanied  in the entire launch process. Therefor that the festival is holding again after a seven-year break."

 

Korosh Zarei explained about the process of holding the 27th regional theater festival of the country: "The first part of the regional theater festival will be held from between 28-31 of December hosted by Kermanshah province with the participation of 18 theater groups and 229 artists, After the closing ceremony "Kermanshah, Bushehr, Mazandaran and Fars provinces will host artists from other provinces based on the division."

He revealed that the last regional theater festival is going to be held in Fars province and only one week before the start of the Fadjr International Theater Festival: "Definitely, the tight schedule of the country's regional theater festival has made it difficult for all those involved, however, We accepted the difficulty so that the Fadjr regional theater festival will flourish again after many years."

 

Zarei considered the role of regional theater festivals in improving the quality of works to participate in the 41st Fadjr International Theater Festival and explained: "Theater groups start rehearsing, preparing and producing their works from July to participate in provincial theater festivals. In the meantime, holding a regional theater festival will also lead to the continuation of their practice, and this will lead to reducing the weaknesses and increasing the strengths of the shows that will compete the Fadjr International Theater Festival.”

 

Zarei revealed  the number of works of  the regional theater festival that will accept in the Fadjr International Theater Festival: "Out of all the works participating in the 27th Regional Theater Festival of the country, between 15 and 20 works will be introduced to participate in the Fadjr International Theater Festival."
