Reza Fayazi :
Working in the theater is the only job of many artists

Iran Theater- Reza Fayazi believes that artists are in the center of society's attention due to their job and social status among the people: “Working in theater, cinema and television is the first and only job of many artists, and the closing of theaters and the cancellation of many projects can have a significant impact on the economy and living conditions of artists. Unfortunately, hasty judgments by the people and even many theater people are hitting this art very hard.”
Reza Fayazi is a veteran director and actor. He was born on July 6, 1953.
He graduated in theater from Faculty of Fine Arts in University of Tehran. Reza Fayazi has acted in Television play such as "Pleasure and naught", "General Inspector" and "One of these days". In the cinema, he has played roles in films such as "Ballad of Tara", "The Fateful Day", "Blue Scarf". The Series Kolah Pahlavi is one of his experiences on television.
As an author, he has published books such as "The Story of Tattoo", "Wandering in Paris", "National Tales", "A Man with Red Nail Polish" and "The Mysterious Box and Other Stories".
Reza Fayazi said about his recent activities in theater:"Currently, we are going through a situation where it has become very difficult to work. I was supposed to direct the play I had written myself in the Honar Hall, and the pre-production of the work had already begun, but I had to stop working."
This veteran artist added: "Artists due to their job and social position among people; They are very much in the center of attention, and their smallest move will cause harsh reactions and sharp criticisms from the society. An example of these encounters was seen during a trip to Mashhad by the Institute of Veteran Artists. The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance suddenly appeared in the group of artists and this caused the traveling companions to be severely attacked. Nevertheless, we tried to make the most of the situation, and for this reason, we talked to the minister with Ms. Farzaneh Neshatkhah about the release of the artists who are trapped in the current situation and presented the names of the artists to him.”
Fayazi believes that unfortunately we judge too soon in many cases, he said: "Some people consider the performance of the play "Parde-Khaneh" directed by Golab Adineh to be the right thing in these social conditions; Because they believe that she is speaking on stage with this work, and on the other hand, many believe that now is not the right time to work."
He continued: "Of course, it's only theater and cinema artists who have problems because of working, and other businesses continue their economic and social activities. While we only have theater, cinema or cooperation with radio and television works to work. Of course, television should definitely be for the people and produce programs and TV series that they want."
