"Iranians" is my most different show
Iran Theater- Reza Saberi, writer and stage director, believes that "Iranian" is his most different theatrical work.
Reza Saberi said that the language of the show "Iranians" is a combination of ancient literature and colloquialism so that it can be understood by the contemporary society and convey the historical lesson of the show to the audience.Reza Saberi is a writer, actor and theater director. This artist has been active in Iranian theater since the seventies. Also, Sabri's first appearance at the Fadjr International Theater Festival dates back to the second edition of this great artistic event. In 2002, he received a first-class art certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Sabri holds the record of being the youngest winner of the Fadjr International Theater Festival and the oldest participant of the 40th edition. The show "Iranians" is the latest work of Reza Saberi, which is present in the international section of the 41st Fadjr International Theater Festival. This is the story of the hidden truths about the killing of Alevi women and children by Harun Abbasid caliphate until his son Ma'mun came to power. This show deals with the forced journey of Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (a.s.) from Medina to Khorasan.
This veteran artist said : "Iranians" is very different from the other works I have directed so far.He continued: I have used a religious idea that people are familiar with as the basis for writing the play. Since every phenomenon and incident can be seen from different angles in the theater, I started writing this play with a new look at the life of Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (AS). The adventure that happen to them during the journey of the eighth Imam from Madinah to Khorasan are told in the show.
The 2023 FITF is underway the Iranian capital until January 31.
