FITF is the showcase of the country's theater
Iran Theater- The director of the street show "Sardar Bi sar"( headless Sardar) said about the importance of performing theater in the country's most important theater event: Some shows are performed in the Fadjr International Theater Festival, which can introduce a new form and genre to the country's theater from the technical and content point of view
The street play " Sardar Bi Sar " written by Saeed Zabihi and directed by Ali Zisti is going on stage this evening (Wednesday, January 25) for the second time at the 41st Fadjr Theater Festival.
In the stage section, Zisti also has a show called "Flowers of the Qur'an" that went on stage on January 24 in Hafez Hall.
Zisti explained about the theme of the show, " Sardar Mirza's head is taken to Tehran by the enemies, someone comes to take his head to Rasht and to the headless body of Sardar Mirza, this person meets a man named Taimur on the way, and several dramatic incidents happen between these two people. "
He added, " The play was given to me by Saeed Zabihi and I really enjoyed the discussions and dramatic conflicts between the two characters. Also, the play had a concept that is very useful in our society these days. "
The director of the street show "Sardar Bisar" revealed that this year is the second time he is participating in the FITF, although he previously participated as an actor and this year as a director.
" Fadjr Theater Festival is the showcase of the country's theater and the shows of twelve months can be seen in the FITF. Works should usually participate in the festival that have a more prominent feature compared to other works or introduce a new form and format to the country's theater in terms of technical and content. " said Ali Zisti about the 2023 FITF.
The 2023 FITF is underway the Iranian capital until January 31.
