Omani Ambassador Ibrahim Almuaini visits 2023 FITF

He watched Youssef Al Balushi ‘s Henna Pestle  which is competing with some other shows in the International Competition section.Madgh Al-Henna (Henna Pestle) is a folk drama about a village that is attacked by foreigners and collapses occur in the absence of the village ruler, but the main character of the story saves the village from foreigners by uniting the people.

Before the performance , a friendly meeting was held in the Vahdat Hall with the presence of Ibrahim Almuaini  ,Ambassador of Oman in Iran, Kazem Nazari ,Director General of Performing Arts and Youssef Al Balushi , Director of show.

There was a discussion about bilateral cultural interactions between Iran and Oman and the development and expansion of cultural and artistic relations between the two countries was emphasized.

Then, Kazem Nazari went to the backstage of the "Henna Pestle " with the Omani ambassador and wished the Omani theatrical troupe success.

The 2023 FITF is underway in Tehran until January 31. The festival is presided over by Iranian actor and director  Kourosh Zarei.
