We Are Ready to Cooperate With the Ritual-Traditional Theater Festival
“In the case of receiving any requisitions, we will send our inspectors to resolve the problem.” Mohsen Hashemi said about not finishing the project of the city theater’s subway station.
IRAN THEATER – “The platform and the ticket office have been finished and the station will come into use by autumn. Delay has solely occurred due to lack of budget.” He said in a brief talk about the delay in the finishing of the project.
As regards that the 14th International Ritual-Traditional Theater Festival is about to start and most of the outdoor plays have to be performed in the yard of the city theater, the fences of the project can disturb the theater troupes and will not let people gather and see the works.
The artistic director of the Play House, Iraj Rad, replyed:
“The metro company has failed to keep its promises.”
“We have not received any letters from the headquarters of the festival or the city theater yet, but if they give us any requisitions, we will surly follow that.” He said to IRAN THEATER.
“We have even protested because of the ramp they have put in the yard of the city theater for excavation, but the company has failed to fulfill its early promise about the project.”
