Special programs for World Theater Day

Iran Theater- Dramatic Arts Center of Iran will celebrate World Theater Day and National Dramatic Arts Day from Tehran to Khoi by holding various special programs.

The programs of World Theater Day and National Dramatic Arts  Day will be organized by Dramatic Arts Center of Iran.

Theater artists are guests of earthquake victims.

The Dramatic Arts Center of Iran and the Performing Arts Association of Iran will organize the National Dramatic Arts  Day on the 27th of March, with the performance of ritual-traditional shows in this region, in order to accompany and support the people and artists affected by the earthquake and to improve their  mental conditions and their spirits.                                                               

Esrafil Farajollahi, CEO of Iran Performing Arts Association, will be present at this ceremony on behalf of the Director General of Performing Arts.

National Dramatic Arts  Day will be celebrate at Sangelaj Theater complex.

At the same time as World Theater Day and National Dramatic Arts  Day, a special event will be held at 19:00 on Monday, the 27th of March, in the Sangelaj Theater Complex. Kazem Nazari (director general of performing arts), Davood Fathali Beigi,( a pioneer of traditional religious performances) and a group of other theater artists will be present.

After reading the message of the General Director of Performing Arts, Seven Haji Firoz will congratulate the National Day of Performing Arts and the ancient Nowruz with haftsin in their hands.

Some other programs are: Holding an exhibition of photos from last year's performances in Honar hall, thanking the artists who have performed their plays on the stage from the winter to the spring in Honar Hall, and the beginning of the performance of the play "Manteko in the Land of the Kingdom" directed by Mehdi Khajestighi. This ceremony will be held at 17:00 on Monday.

The message of World Theater Day and National Dramatic Arts  Day in 2023 was written by Esmaeel Khalaj, a veteran theater writer, actor and director.
