Special support for student and provincial groups to perform

Kazem Nazari, Director General of Dramatic arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance,  had a meeting with Amin Ashrafi, the head of Tehran Theater Complex and  discussed the cooperation between the General Administration and Tehran Theater Complex on Saturday, April 15.

Kazem Nazari pointed out the appropriate approaches with the foresight of this Complex and considered it one of the largest art Complex in the country, which can be a good example for art Complex not only in the country but also for the region.

He went on to mention details about this complex and said: Tehran Theater Complex has a large area and several professional halls and there are very good facilities , so the facilities of this complex are completely unique and I hope that with proper planning and policy, this complex will play a more active role than ever as a specialized center in the field of drama.

 

This artistic director continued to provide explanations about the joint programs of the General Department of Dramatic Arts and Khane Namayesh of the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran Municipality.

"According to the negotiations with the manager of Khane Namayesh, cooperation can be in the field of short-term, long-term and strategic trainings, cross-performance of drama groups that have performed in Tehran and in different halls such as Sangelaj Theater Complex, Molavi Hall and Honar Hall, and also The performances of the theater groups of the cities should be in Tehran and in the Tehran theater complex. "

 

Kazem Nazari emphasized: "According to the agreement with the management of the Complex and in order to improve the quality and quantity of the activities of this Complex, the groups introduced by the Tehran Theater Complex will be introduced to the General Directorate of Dramatic Arts  and  Support Council, as well as the groups that perform in other theaters like  Sengelaj  Theater Complex and they also pledge to the theater association to perform in Tehran theater Complex."

Amin Ashrafi, the director of the Khane Namayesh and the head of the Tehran Theater Complex, also announced the invitation of student troupes to perform in the Tehran Theater Complex as one of the future policies of this group in order to support them.
