Noushin Tabrizi: Anyone who has money will perform

Noushin Tabrizi, writer, director and actress of theater and cinema, has been away from directing and acting for almost two years. She considers the death of her husband to be one of the main reasons . Afshin Sulaimanpour, a fifty-four-year-old theater artist who died due to cardiac arrest, was the his husband.

Noushin Tabrizi wrote the play "Romeo and Juliet" according to abilities and acting workshops of the students of Sima Tirandaz, which will be staged in Nofel Loshato Mansion.

Maybe you have been away from the theater for almost two years, do you miss the theater?

-I always miss the theater. In 1400, I lost my wife and the most bitter thing happened to me. Due to a work commitment in May and June of the same year, I went on stage as an actress and after that I didn't play in the theater anymore, but I didn't give up writing, and several of my plays have been staged in these two years. Of course, I also had offers to play in the theater, but they did not have the quality I was looking for. It is better to say this way, the suggestions I had for the game were not for me and if I went to perform, it would be a wrong choice and decision.

What is the origin of this wrong approach that causes the weakness of the theater?

-Unfortunately, a number of young artists just want to make a resume and work on the stage, and they go from one hall to another, without any good show on the stage. Currently, some private theaters allow performances only for money. I am not saying that theater should closed  and not be performed, but quality is also  a key  factor. Now everyone who has money performs in a private or public hall

 

Tell us about your new collaboration as a writer for Sima Tirandaz’s show.

-Fortunately, I have some experience with my friend Sima Tirandaz; The play "Romeo and Juliet" which will be staged in Nofel Loshato Mansion ,is my latest collaboration as a writer with her. This play was written in the form of a text in classes and workshops, and the play was written according to the abilities and knowledge of the students. The only difference between this play and my other plays is that Sima also plays in this play.
