Alireza Eslahi: I want to be an actor of impossible roles

Iran Theater- Alireza Eslahi, the actor of the " The Horse Killers", says that all his efforts are aimed at making the audience believe that they are facing a real horse, even though they see a human being in the form of an animal. He made a special effort to learn the horse's body language and this approach has become the key to the success of this role.
Alireza Eslahi was born in 1994 and graduated from Shahid Avini Fine Arts high school. He started his theatrical activities in the field of stage and street shows since 2008 . He has participated in 3 editions of Fadjr International Theater Festival. A special mention went to Alireza Eslahi for sound design of the show "The Horse Killers".
The show "The Horse Killers", which received recognitions in FITF, is currently on stage at Layegh Theater Hall in Shiraz City.
Eslahi played the role of a horse in the show "A Week of Walking in Heaven" in 2018.
He said about playing the role of a horse in several different shows over the years: ""I try to be an actor in impossible roles and the role of a horse is a completely different and unrepeatable role-playing. I tried my best to make the audience believe that they are facing a real horse even though they see a human being .I had learned the horse's body language and that became the key to the success of this role."
This young actor explained about the character of the horse in " The Horse Killers", :"This was a complex play with many sub-layers written by Reza Ghstasab forced me to create a new horse for the show. Repeating the same role in two works is a big risk because when you have played a brilliant role, for the second time you have to play a role that is beyond and more developed than the previous one.”
He added: "Difficult and dangerous mise-en-scènes were one of the notable points of acting in this show, jumping from a height on the stage with a fly jumper in the dark and local light is also one of the thrills of this role."
Eslahi added that he has been working in the field of digital music for many years: "In 2019, I started working as a composer in the show "Australia". I had already started making instrumental music, which in my opinion is a completely dramatic, a collection of instruments and melodies and wordless episodes that make the listener eager to follow the auditory charms."
He said about the potential of theater music: I think sound is the main complement of the image, when these two are matched, a pure moment is created. The music of the show "Australia" was a fusion of native Australian instruments and southern Iranian instruments.
