Honar Hall to home David Wood’s Cinderella

Iran Theater- The play "Cinderella" written by David Wood, translated by Hossein Fadaei-Hossein and directed by Maryam Kazemi was opened in Honar Hall on May 10.
"Cinderella" is one of the most well-known fictional characters for children around the world, which has been the subject of many movies, theaters and animations.
CINDERELLA is written in rhyme and the character names are colour-coded. Hopefully schools can use the play in the classroom.. The play follows the traditional story of Cinderella, and was, in fact, adapted from an earlier version . Wood wrote for the PLAY THEATRE: CINDERELLA, published by Kingfisher.
The cast include Ali Forootan, Hamid Goli, Farhad Sharifi, Maryam Kazemi, Mehrad Zamani, Parisa Falahzadeh, Erfan Maidanlou, Nazanin Safa, Nasim Amirkhowsro, Narges Safamanesh, Shadi Karaayin, Saeed Tajik, Mehdi Ramzanzadeh, Alireza Amozad and Sama Ahmadi.
This show is produced by the Mostaghel Theater Group with stage design by Afshin Bayanati, costume design by Mojgan Eeyvazi, music by Farid Navaei, wig and mask design by Afsana Gholizadeh, puppet design and headgear by Soheila Bajlan, puppet dress sewing by Leila Shoghi and Nasim AmirKhosrow, light by Kivan Ziapour's make-up design by Hossein Tabrizi and Leila Parshan . The lyrics are written by Maryam Kazemi. Amir Abedi is the photographer and the poster and brochure design’s by Parisa Falahzadeh, and Bahram Shadanfar is doing the production of teasers and promotional visual items.
DAVID WOOD began writing as a student at Oxford University in the sixties. He wrote his first play for children in 1967 and has since written over sixty more.
They are performed all over the world and include THE GINGERBREAD MAN (nine London seasons), THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT WENT TO SEE... (six London seasons, co-written with Sheila Ruskin), THE SELFISH SHELLFISH, THE SEE-SAW TREE, SAVE THE HUMAN (from the story he wrote with cartoonist Tony Husband), THE IDEAL GNOME EXPEDITION and THE PLOTTERS OF CABBAGE PATCH CORNER.
