Esmail Soltanian passed away at 69

Iran Theater- Esmail Soltanian, a veteran actor of theater, cinema and television, died.
He died in June 13 at the age of 69 due to cardiac arrest.
Seyed Abbas Azimi, CEO of Veteran Artists Institute, said: "In a phone call from his son, Milad Soltanian, I unfortunately learned that his father passed away due to illness and cardiac arrest."
The CEO of the Veteran Artists Institute expressed his condolences to his family and the artists, especially the veteran artists.
Azimi added that the date of funeral will be announced later.
Soltanian was born in Kermanshah in 1954 and graduated in acting and theater directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. He started his career in theater as a writer, actor and director in 1970, and at the same time, in 1970, he spent a six-month course at the Kermanshah Dramatic Arts Training Center under the supervision of Atesh Taghipur.
He started working in the cinema in 1985 by acting in the movie Shekar Shekarchi. Also, he staged several theaters on the fronts during Iran-Iraq war. Esmail Soltanian acted in popular series as Vaziat-e Sefid (2011, Hamid Nematollah) , Capital(2011), Prophet Joseph(2008) and The Frog(2020).
