The first hip-hop musical show in Iran

As the first hip-hop musical style show , "Good Doctor",  was prepared for a long time ago by a group of young people interested in the theater stage . After about a year of training, it is scheduled to be performed from 2-19 of July every night at 20:00 in the Mehrab Hall .

The playwright, designer and director of this play is Mahmoud Malek and Payam Haghnejad produces it.

 

"The Good Doctor" is classified in the musical genre. But the creator of this work has tried to make the original of this work look different by combining several different styles and genres and translating the dialogue into the song.

It’s based on Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor. The Good Doctor is a comedy with music written by Neil Simon. It consists of a series of short plays, based on short stories and other works of Russian writer Anton Chekhov, framed by a writer making comments on them.

Negin Setayandeh, Mahyar Eidi, Simin Sakhaie, Mahmoud Malek, Payam Haghnejad, Sarina Kian, Mahmoud Hashemi, Narges Gholami Anid Eftekhari, Kiana Salehi, Ali Nikyar star in the show.
