The First national Gadhamgah Street Theater Festival started in Yazd

The opening ceremony of the Gadhamgah National Street Theater Festival (Mabahleh art event) was held on the evening of Tuesday, July 11, with the presence of Esrafil Farajollahi, CEO of the Performing Arts Association and Ehsan Abedi, the Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Yazd Province and the secretary of the festival, artists and audience from city of Dar al-Abadah, Yazd city.

 

The CEO of the Performing Arts Association praised and thanked the Governor of Yazd for accepting to host this art event in the Yazd and said: "We hope that this art event centered on Mubahele will be held well in the coming years.

 

Farajollahi continued: Theatre is an expressive language and can influence different generations, therefore cultural and religious concepts should be transferred to future generations with the language of theater in such events.

In the end, he said: The efforts of the Performing Arts Association also offer that we stand by the values of the Islamic Revolution, religion and the country.

Ehsan Abedi, Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance and Secretary of this festival welcomed the artists from all over the country, said: The historical event of Mubahlah is the truth of Islam and the Holy Prophet which in this event perfectly represents the virtue of the Prophet's family, especially Imam Ali .

The First national Gadhamgah Street Theater Festival is being held from July 11 to 13 in Yazd city and several other places in the country.
