Saeedeh Ajoorbandian on Sayeh Roshan

Saeedeh Ajorbandian is a theater director and writer and a university lecturer who directs " Sayeh Roshan "  and is performing on stage every night at 6 pm in City Theater Complex.

This show deals with the relationship between members of an artistic family during the story of a plagiarism, played by Seyyed Javad Yahyavi, Faegheh Shalavand, Farbod Farhang and Sahar Golshirazi.

 

The director and writer of the show "Sayeh Roshan" said: "The story is original, but it was taken from my knowledge and news about young screenwriters whose work was used without copyrights, which is very important to me. It was fascinating and annoying at the same time. Therefore, I have also had investigations with the legal department of Khaneh Cinema.

She continued: "As an Iranian writer, I have told a story in the medium of theater and brought this real news to the stage. The show  has a female story and the central character is a  female poet named Sayeh Roshan. In "Sayeh Roshan" we focus on the life of a couple named Sayeh and Ali. Ali is a well-known filmmaker whose work is claimed to have been stolen by a person named Hamed, and in the following we will enter the life of this man and woman as well as what happens in Sayeh's life.

The director also explained about the changes that have been made in the performance of this show: "The play and the performance are two different works, and apart from the fact that their playwright and director are the same person, they should be measured in two different situations. This show has had changes in terms of the performance form, the number of characters and the general atmosphere . The performance has changed from realism to minimalism. The cast has also changed for some reason. Of course, the previous cast acted at the Fadjr Theater Festival and were by my side.  Seyed Javad Yahyavi joined us and played one of the important roles of the show."

In the end, this theater artist said: "I had requested the performance of this show 11 years ago to City Theater Complex, but until now, the conditions were not ready to perform this work. I am happy that now it’s my turn to perform and together with the group we can host the audience in City Theater Complex."
