Maisam Mozafari: We are still far from making money from theater

Iran Theater- Maisam Mozafari, a writer and stage director, believes that nowadays stage artists work for the love of theater and are still far from earning money, so he hope the situation will improve.
Maisam Mozafari, the writer and director, will direct "Crow" on the stage since August 21, along with Sajad Afsharian as a producer, at Malek Theater.
Mozafari said about his latest theatrical experience : I always perform my own writings or make short films of them. My effort is to write about my concerns and concerned people and produce them.
This theater director continued: "It has four characters that has human and sociological concerns that go beyond normal human relationships. I spent three months for writing "Crow", and after the play finished, we have been rehearsing it for about 6 months.
Mozafari continued: We were supposed to perform the play earlier, but the play had to be censored and things in the text had to be removed, so we were delayed from our first performance date.
This director expressed his satisfaction with choosing the Malek Theater as venue: After renovation Malek Theater has good capabilities and facilities for the director and the theater troupe , and of course, Dr. Masoud is also pleased with our performance and They suggested this hall.
Mozafari added: Malek Theater may be far from the gathering center of other theaters, but I believe that if the performance is good, the audience will come to any theater to watch it. We have tried our best to improve the quality and provide a good show for the audiences and viewers.
