Enjoy the theatre on a break in Dublin
Those staying in hotels in Dublin next month may be interested to learn that the Ulster Bank Theatre Festival kicks off on September 24th.
The event runs until October 11th and is a must for those who enjoy the dramatic arts.
More than 26 productions will be taking place at various venues across the city, with performers gathering from 12 different countries.
Highlights of the festival include Lee Hall’s hit The Pitmen Painters and a performance of Cekhov’s Three Sisters.
On addition, there will be a series of physical theatre performances, including To Be Straight With You and the Age I’m In.
Several poetry recitals will also be taking place.
Another exciting event which may interest those taking a break in Dublin next month is the Bulmers International Comedy Festival.
It begins on September 6th and features a stellar line-up, with Jimmy Carr and Michael McIntyre both set to take to the stage.
