Samandarian at Annual Shakespeare Festival

Supported by Dramatic Arts Center and international institute ITI, the acting school of Hamid Samandarian, beside 70 theater troupes of acting schools from all around the world, will take part in the annual Shakespeare Festival.

IRAN THEATER – the public relations of Dramatic Arts Center reported that the international festival is dedicated to the youth productions of Shakespeare. In the age of overnight on Oct 23 the creative troupes of acting schools will perform Shakespeare in different forms and languages in order to gather sources and provide field of cultural communication.

Last year 65 troupes from 35 different countries simultaneously staged their works on Oct 23 (Shakespeare's birthday).

The festival called "Interesting International Journey" hosts an Iranian troupe for the first time. Under the direction of Hamid Samandarian, the director of the stage project, Kiumarth Moradi, will stage the work including actors of the Samandarian's workshop.
