Iranian play “Alaa” Heads to Daejeon International Play Festival
Iran Theater- ‘Alaa, written and directed by Mohammad Kazemtabar, took staged at the 14th Daejeon International Play Festival in South Korea
"Alaa" is a romantic monodrama that was performed for the first time in Iranian theater using the movements and figures of Arial Yoga (yoga with fabric in suspended conditions).
The Iranian play went on stage on the 11th and 12th of September. And the press conference had been held for the production team of Alaa. Shima Jafarzadeh is the only performer of Iranian play “Alaa”
With a presence of 16 plays from eight different countries, the 14th edition of the South Korean festival opened on September 8, and will run through September 26 in the city of Daejeon, South Korea.
