Razavi Theater Festival Is an Opportunity for Artists
The third meeting of the Razavi International Theater Festival took place in the presence of the theater experts, Shahram Karami and Rahmat Amini, in order to analyze capacities, necessities and needs of the festival.
IRAN THEATER – Mentioning that the festival has made chances and suitable field for artists, Rahmat Amini said: "Although holding such a festival was much more demanding than holding Ashura Rites Meetings, the festival has established itself during these rounds." The festival's public relations reported.
"Our theater suffers lack of research materials based on the international standards. We should encourage and support the theater researchers. Another issue is attracting audience. I recommend the festival authorities to make plane for attracting more audience and invite the stage productions which attract more spectator." Amini Said.
"A festival is normally evaluated on the basis of relationship between artist and audience. I believe that after 6 rounds, the festival has made a name for itself as a prestigious artistic festival." Karami said. "The festival should not be solely limited to the 8th Imam, but should also cover all of other religious themes."
The 7th Razavi International Theater festival is scheduled to take place coincident with the blessed birthday of Imam Reza, from Oct 20 to 24, in Tehran.
