Beckett's "Waiting for Godot " sets Dates at City Theater Complex

Iran Theater- Maziar Lorestani’s latest directing experience , "Waiting for Godot", will performed on stage since September 26 at Chahrsoo Hall.

Maziar Lorestani, a veteran actor and director of theater and television, is returning to theater after a long time. His "Waiting for Godot " will be a new interpretation of Samuel Beckett’s work.

"Waiting for Godot " is featuring Afsar Asadi, Amir Abbas Toofighi, Abtin Javid, Mohammad Aghamohammadi, Mostafa Farhadmehr and Mehrzad Askari.

Lorestani announced that he plans to stage the play

Waiting for Godot is a play by Irish playwright Samuel Beckett in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, engage in a variety of discussions and encounters while awaiting the titular Godot.

He’s directed some plays such as "The Miser of Rugaford Village", "Gallery", "Curtain Removal", "Eagle", "Dash Akol", "Theatrical Company", "Sultan Mar, "Double Life", "Picnic" On the battlefield" and etc.
