Hamid Nili: Sacred Defense Theater needs attention

Iran Theater- Hamid Nili, CEO of Iranshahr Theater, wrote a note on the occasion of the Sacred Defense Week and said that the Sacred Defense Theater needs attention and addressing the historical heritage of Sacred Defense.
The Sacred Defense Week marks eight years of the Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s. This week is annually celebrated nationwide to mark martyrs and war veterans of the Iraqi-imposed war on the Islamic Republic in 1980-88.
Hamid Nili wrote: "The Scared Defense Week made me write for theaters with the Scared Defense theme; A theater that is extremely abandoned and weak, and not only has no place except for festivals, but also Rather, these shows are not addressed. If a theater is produced about scared defense era, it will be labeled as a custom theater with a high budget to make it less important.
He added: When I research, I can guess many reasons for this. Of course, There was a little hope that I don't know if that spark is still there or it has been lost! When the Sarv Grand Prize was held and the call was published, more than 250 works submitted to the secretariat; This number was surprising for one year. Theatrical groups that came to the stage had personal interest and there were no support in the cities.
He objected : Instead of your brand, think of young directors who are concerned about the sacred defense and are waiting for production. We must know that the Scared Defense Theater needs attention! It is not only a financial support, but the importance of the play and the position of this type of show, education and thousands of other attentions are needed, which are lost in the form of expensive works. Sacred Defense is full of ideas and charms that can be mainstreaming.
Hamid Nili requests that next year some of the budget of street shows be spent on these ideas so that dramas about the Scared defense, the mothers of the martyrs and about the martyrs will be produced.
